Learn from the Pros
The golf academy at Blackhead Mountain is unlike any other. Personalized instruction is guaranteed with a maximum of a 4:1 student to pro ratio. Five hours per day of instruction for two and three day academies allows ample time for your pro to cover all aspects of the game. Greens Fees and unlimited use of our practice facility are included with all academy packages. Students opting for the "hotel package" will receive the added benefit of delicious meals and use of the resort's amenities including our fitness center and outdoor heated pool.
Play Like The Pros
P.G.A. class “A” golf professional Peter Maassmann and his staff are eager to help golfers of all abilities improve their games and lower their scores. Both individual and group lessons are available along with many clinics scheduled throughout the season. Please call the pro shop in advance to schedule your appointment.

Directions
From the south:
Drive north on the New York State Thruway to Exit 20, Saugerties. Take Route 32 north toward Cairo. After 11 miles turn left on Heart's Content Road at Round Top Purling Sign. Go 4 miles. Take first left after Fire House onto Blackhead Mountain Road and go 1 mile to the end.
From the north:
Drive south on the New York State Thruway to Exit 21, Catskill. Take Route 23 West to Cairo. In Town of Cairo turn left at the Light at the Getty Station and opposite the Cairo Central School. Then follow signs 4 miles to Round Top, then signs to Blackhead Mountain Lodge.

BENEFIT FOR A THURSDAY NIGHT HACKER
Thursday Night Hackers League is one of the oldest leagues in the area, established in 1982 and based at Stone Dock Golf Course. This year they will be having a fundraiser to help Bob Graves with medical bills. Bob is a self-employed contractor, lives in Hurley and has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
The event will be at Stone Dock Golf Course on Sat. June 19 at 1:00 PM. The event had originally been scheduled for May 8. Cost is $100 per player, Captain and Crew. Included is 18 holes of golf, cart, hamburgers and hot dogs at the turn, and a buffet dinner to follow.

SHANE GEISLER MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
The 2010 Shane Geisler Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit The Shane Geisler Memorial Fund will be held Friday, July 2nd at the Lazy Swan Golf & Country Club Village in Saugerties. 8 am and 1 pm shot gun starts are available. $500 per foursome includes 18 holes of Golf w/ cart, Lunch, Dinner, Beverages on course, prizes, entertainment and much more. The format is Captain & Crew.

CALLING ALL DUFFERS
The "Duffer Open" will be held Saturday, June 12 at Rip Van Winkle Country Club in Palenville. Presented by Blue Stone Country Inn Restaurant, all proceeds will go to support the Saugerties Athletic Booster Club.
Entry fee is $85 per duffer and includes 18 holes with cart, lunch and beverages. Registration is at 9 a.m. with a continental breakfast; the shotgun start begins at 10 a.m.

A benefit golf tournament for the Ulster County SPCA is scheduled for Monday, June 14 at Twaalfskill Golf Club in Kingston.
The $90 greens fee includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, breakfast and lunch.
